The course of this research involves a non-linear journey through feminist and collaborative digital cartographies, to understand them from the communicational plane, from the experiential plane, and from the physical and virtual dimensions, how space is produced, reproduced and interpreted from the maps, and the appropriations of technology to create them.

Mapping intimacy: from condoms to tampons and the politics of
bathrooms. Spatial inequalities in access to sexual rights and
reproductive studies based on collaborative data

[In publication] This article begins with an everyday, almost simple premise, but seeks to engage with the political significance of space: sexual and reproductive health is a spatial practice, and its access, exercise, and the possibility of bodily autonomy are mediated and often restricted by existing urban infrastructures. It is these infrastructures, in their design, distribution, and maintenance, that frequently operate as mechanisms that tend to determine the organization of bodies in space and delineate the forms considered legitimate for autonomy and care.

Summary

Creating open and inclusive geospatial data. Mapping the path to diversity in collaborative digital networks.

This presentation aims to highlight the importance of creating a mediation between what is constructed as a reality from collaborative mapping with OpenStreetMap (OSM) and the tension between the diversity of inclusive open data that represent the needs of women in the territory.

Cartographies of memory and resistance against oblivion. Spatialized narratives of #UNANoTeCalles

This article seeks to establish a dialogue between the construction of a living collective memory and its mediation with the political processes that took place during #UNANoTeCalles, the occupation of the campus of the National University of Asunción, through the spatialized narratives of the people who participated in the demonstrations of 2015 and 2016. Two years after the occupation of the Rector's Office and the subsequent resignation of the then Rector, Froilán Peralta, and the reform of the university statutes, this research aims to find spaces where the memory of those who participated resides and thus understand what the practices of resistance of the student movement were in the face of the abuse of the university's academic institutions.

Feminism, ethics, and geospatial data: A brief reflection towards their joint analysis

Geospatial data is becoming increasingly relevant in public discourse, whether due to contexts such as the fight against the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic, the struggle to defend territories and natural resources, or the increased visibility of feminist struggles worldwide. This research aims to develop an analysis of the production, consumption, and reproduction of geospatial data from an ethical and feminist perspective, based on a review of the evolution of discussions within critical geography, feminist ethics, and collaborative cartography.

Feminism, ethics and geospatial data: a practical guide of recommendations

Practical supplementary materials to the guide Feminism, Ethics, and Geospatial Data: A Brief Reflection Towards a Joint Analysis. This material is a guide of basic recommendations intended as a didactic support for the research project Feminism, Ethics, and Geospatial Data: A Reflection Towards a Joint Analysis. It can be used virtually or in print to promote discussion during meetings and group activities. The recommendations in this material are not intended as a guiding framework regarding the steps to be taken, but rather as a reflective path for both collective and individual debates that should be raised when carrying out mapping practices.
